These snowflake blocks are so cute and versatile for winter decorating! They are small enough to mix into almost any space, but cute enough to stand on their own as well. On top of being super cute, they are so simple and fun to make. Just two steps and they’re done!
What’s in your kit:
- Wood Blocks*
- Vinyl Snowflakes
- 3 Bottles of paint
- Foam Brushes
*If you purchased a kit without wood you will need 3 wood blocks that are 3 1/2 in. by 3 1/2 in.
How to make them:
Step 1- Paint:
Start by painting the 3 blocks. One light blue, one dark blue, and one gray. We always recommend starting with the sides, that way you can rotate it around as you paint. Then lay it flat to paint the front. Once the front is dry, turn over to paint the back. If you choose to paint more than one coat just be sure the previous coat of paint is completely dry before painting another.
Step 2- Vinyl:
The snowflakes are very easy to apply. Simply peel the backing away leaving the snowflake on the clear transfer tape.
Center the snowflake on the block and press well using a vinyl squeegee (or credit card.) Then peel the transfer tape away leaving the snowflake on the block. Press the snowflake again smoothing out any bubbles.
All done! Three adorable snowflake blocks ready to dress up a shelf for Winter!
