We are in love with this Easter Egg Hunt sign. Whether you use it for your Easter egg hunt, or just keep it up for Easter decor - it’s just so cute! Like many of our crafts, this is a quick 2 step project.
What’s in your kit:
- Easter Egg Hunt vinyl
- Paint
- Brush
The wood for this craft is 6×18 inches.
How to make it:
Step 1- Paint:
Start by painting the wood. We always recommend starting with the sides, then lay flat to paint the front. Once dry, turn over to paint the back. Make sure the first coat of paint is completely dry before painting a second. If the paint is not completely dry the vinyl will not stick.
Step 2 - Vinyl:
Now that the paint is dry, time for the vinyl! (If you are new to vinyl, click HERE to see full step by step instructions.)
Peel the transfer tape backing away.
Use a vinyl squeegee or credit card to press the vinyl onto the wood.
Then peel up the clear transfer tape.
When peeling away the transfer tape, we have found it works best to keep the tape close to the surface and roll it back at a steep angle. Work slowly to make sure none of the words pull up.
That’s it! Your Easter Egg Hunt sign is done! A quick 2 step craft ready for Easter celebrations.
